This term we have been learning a lot about vertebrates and invertebrates. A vertebrate is an animal with a backbone and an invertebrate is an animal without a backbone.
We have also done a DLO (a Digital Learning Objective) about vertebrates and invertebrates. Here it is.
I really enjoyed this activity because I got to learn what an invertebrate and vertebrate is.

Matariki
This week we have been learning about Matariki. Today we made Moari fry bread. We made it to share with our buddy class. It was super duper yummy.
We also designed a paper feather korowai and then Miss Mills added them all to a cloak.

Bigfoot Bikes
This week Johny and Logan came from Bigfoot Bikes to come and talk to us about bike safety.
4 people brought their helmet including me. Only me and Cleo could use our helmet, and Phillip's helmet wasn't a bike helmet and Marley's helmet turned out be broken! You should check your helmet for cracks by pulling it apart. It is important to do this because if it has a crack it won't protect your head.
The games we played at the end were super fun. And I learnt a lot of stuff.
