Quick Maths

This week is Maths week. Yesterday we learned about BODMAS. It taught us about the order that we use to solve problems with more than 1 operation (+,  -,  x and ÷).
Once we learned about BODMAS we did a challenge in groups. I was with Frankie and Marley, we got to choose our groups. I liked my group.
So in the challenge we got a booklet each with maths equations in it. We had to use the BODMAS technique to figure them out and then we had a runner (Marley) who brought the answers to Miss Mills. and guess what the best part was? We won!!!

Film festival

Yesterday we went to the 2018 film festival for schools. It was at the civic. It showed 12 short films. My dad came to help, me and him both really liked it. I had had 2 favorites. one was about a young tram and its mum. The mum tought the little tram how to pick people up. When they both got older the mum went out by its self one night and she got rusty and couldn't move and then the son went out and saved her. My other favorite one was like this. There was a little girl who knocked on everyone's door asking if the had seen her guinea pig. The last person she asked was an old lady and inside her house was a bird and the little girl ran in and let bird free and the bird flew out of the window. then the lady left to try and find her bird. So the little girl made poster to ask people if they new where the old lady and the bird were. the little girl asked a man but he didn't answer so she asked his dog and the dog showed so she found the lady and then they found the bird.
